Illuminate capsules really open up my perception. I feel more attuned to my own energy, regardless of whether its tension, peaceful flow, or anything in between; and I find that through breathing and visualizations with eyes closed, I can much more effectively guide my energy toward lightness, compassion (for myself and others), and more. Two things I’d emphasize about Illuminate and also Elevate capsules (mini doses) is: 1) Stay away from screens–it zaps the power of these amazing tools, and 2) Don’t view them as a way to “escape” a bad or painful mood; they are tools of exploration, uncovering, truth. They might bring you a deeper into your pain so that you gain the clarity you need to adjust your perspective. This isn’t about a “high” or escapism; it’s about traveling through the self, perception, emotion, and more, seeing things for new angles and oftentimes grabbing the reins and steering towards more productive, imaginative, and beautiful ways of seeing life and the world.
